Engaged ❤️💍

On November 23, 2025 my boyfriend (well, now Fiancé), asked me to marry him!!

It was the perfect picturesque scene; I had brought my dog Bubba, and Anthony Meals and I were driving along the local lake.

Being the mushy people that we are, who often reminisce for the sake of nostalgia, I thought it was a normal trip to where we had our first picnic back in 2023.

We got out of the car, Bubba at my heel, and went to the small shelter. It was situated on the shore of the lake, absolutely beautiful. I noticed Anthony seemed nervous, but I thought it was because there were other visitors there (how dare they, just kidding). Well, it was because he wanted to be alone for this moment! AAAH! This is SO exciting to write!

Now what happened next is something I’m very grateful I prepared him for. I told him when he proposes, the first thing out of my mouth will be along the lines of “are you proposing right now?” Or “just making sure this isn’t a joke” or “is this real?” Because ya know, my personality has a tendency to need verification in all walks of life!

Welp good thing I prepared him cause the first thing I said was “are you proposing right now?” (In an excited manner). He nodded, and I LOST IT, jumping up down, I hugged him and then my dog wrapped us up in his leash like a Hallmark movie. It was the most exciting day, and Anthony made everything PERFECT!! So yep, we are engaged!!

In another post, I will show you the meaning of the day, as well as the meaning of the ring! It was on Christ the King’s Feast Day!

I’m so grateful for you Anthony, I feel so happy, at peace, and thankful to God for bringing YOU, my little precious guy, into my life! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love,

Gabs

Mustard Seed Dairy & Creamery

In my last post I mentioned our soap business - let me introduce you to it!

The name comes straight from scripture...but it was before I even was apart of the business, or it even officially existed! Now, how is that, you may wonder? Well, my fiancé Anthony had originally planned to own a dairy. The kind with....well, with lots of cows. And lots of milk.

That was when he was a single pringle principal. Sorry, Anthony, but here comes Gabs barrelling into your life! (Insert winking emoji here).

Somewhere, somehow, we tried making soap. I don't recall why this was an idea, but it was. I remember as a kid, we would go to vendor shows and I would see the booths and want to make pretty soaps like they did. I remember browsing the Hobby Lobby soap aisles, wishing I could dabble in the craft. Well, it took Anthony to really help me take the plunge. I think I needed a partner in crime. And now I have one! Boy, do I have one!

As we became more established, Anthony came up with a brilliant idea which is now our main product. Our Scripture Soap (TM) line. We craft soaps, bath teas, and sugar scrubs with a certain scent, shape, and color. These aspects pertain to pieces of scripture, with the entire experience enveloping all your senses, transporting you straight into the Bible! The soaps and colors all match the theme of the scripture - for instance, Garden of Eden comes with a bar of soap shaped like an apple, as well as a lemon slice. The sugar scrub is red, yellow, and green, signifying the vibrant colors of the original paradise. The bath tea contains dried fruit, real fruit, such as apples and lemon peel. The aroma of citrus and apple takes us into Genesis. Everything we make is done with intent, heart, and yes, a lot of trial and error!

Our logo goes back to Anthony's original idea. While Mustard Seed Dairy & Creamery may not have any....well, dairy or cream products, it is the official name of our soap business. That cow in the logo is Faith, Anthony's Brown Swiss, and maybe someday, her milk will be the main ingredient in our soaps!

I will lead you to Anthony's blog to read more about it;  https://perennialeducator.org/mustardseeddairy/ (@ Anthony Meals). He writes more officially than I do!

Thank you for taking the time to read. Have a blessed day!

About me!

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

My name is Gabs (Gabrielle) Dierenfeldt. I live to serve our Lord through my Catholic faith, to create, and to love the gifts He brings into my life!

I love animals. And I mean....love. My fiancè Anthony and I currently own two donkeys, a cow and her calf, and I personally have a horse and a dog. These critters make up the majority (majority basically meaning most of) my camera roll. The rest are mostly memes and Kansas sunsets.

As for creativity? I have a photography business called Sunflower Snapshots by Gabs, which is a very small business, but keeps me busy whenever I want to put it out there! I also do commissions for little cartoons. I love crocheting, and my fiancè and I also have a small soap business!

Our soap business is called Mustard Seed Dairy & Creamery. I will lead you to Anthony's blog to read more about it;  https://perennialeducator.org/mustardseeddairy/ (@ Anthony Meals). I will also write an upcoming blog post about it!

Well, that's all for now. This was just a quick introductory! Here is a picture of Teddy (one of our donkeys) and I to get us started on this blogging adventure!
